Harrison Ford returns May 22 as the iconic titular hero in Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. I don't know if Ford has gotten a little too protracted in the molar to embody the swashbuckling Indy, but frankly, I don't care. I'm going to see it for Cate Blanchett playing a slinky Soviet agent in a jet black wig, and from what I can tell from the trailer, she's even sexier than she was last year as an androgynous speedfreak Bob Dylan in I'm Not There. Although perhaps I've already said too much...

I've always had been mixed reactions to Shyamalan's work. There are moments in his films that are genuinely classic and there are some that are downright laughable.

Lauer Opens Door To Cruise 9 May 2008 08:49 AM

According to People.com, Matt Lauer holds no grudges after Tom Cruise came on his show and got into a spat about the psychiatry. "I don't feel there are any hard feelings," Lauer said, "It was an interview. It was a good moment on television." Yet after the relatively dismal performance of Mission: Impossible 3 and the outright disappointment that was Lions for Lambs it doesn't seem that main-stream audiences are so quick to forgive and forget.
