BOXOFFICE takes a look at which flicks will improve their box office take after the Golden Globes.

Slumdog Millionaire

Mainstream America, meet Slumdog Millionaire. Danny Boyle's flick is still only playing at 601 locations (it actually lost 11 before this past Friday), and its estimated domestic haul is $34 million. Both of those numbers will see strong increases in the weeks to come. The Fox Searchlight release has been slipping a little, but the Globe win for Best Motion Picture - Drama is going to help reverse that trend. After this win, it's safe to say that the film is headed for a domestic gross of at least $50 million.

Revolutionary Road

Kate Winslet's win for Best Actress in a Motion Picture Drama will provide a slight boost. Road is currently playing at a modest 135 locations, and its haul stands at an estimated $3.17 million. It has the advantage of rolling out wide on January 23, which means the Globes served as one long commercial for the film.

Frost/Nixon

No wins for a very deserving film, still the exposure from the Globes should help increase its box office haul. Unfortunately, Ron Howard's flick has failed to gain momentum from its limited release. F/N has been in theatres since December 5, and it has only grossed $7.7 million.
