Redford Not An Anti-Hollywood Insurgent

Accepting the ShoWest Visionary Award on Tuesday, Robert Redford set the record straight on his Sundance empire: it's not "anti-Hollywood," the Academy Award-winning actor/director/producer—and now, exhibitor—insisted. "I'm not an insurgent that's been plotting a takeover up in the mountains," Redford deadpanned, referencing the site of his Sundance Institute. "I did it up in the mountains of Utah because, really, that's all I could afford."
