So...what did I think of Oliver Stone's W.?
Better than Spike Lee's X...
...but not as good as Costa-Gavras' Z.

Well, there's not much that's better than "Z", but I liked "X" better than "W". Both were a bit too long; both have terrific performances. But "W" literally put me to sleep.

Have a good time across the pond with the cheese-eating surrender monkeys. We just got back from there last month. Attended a wedding in the Pyrenees, 4 days in Bordeaux, 3 days in Paris. First time ever. Despite only 25 words of French, I don't think we damaged the U.S.' reputation abroad .... (W. took care of that!)
