Look for trailers soon, and the films in 2008
Along with the advance screenings that take place during ShowEast, attendants of the convention receive in
their goody bags, folders from production studios with announcements of upcoming films.
Baby Mama: Comedy powerhouse Tina Fey teams with Saturday Night Live's Amy Poehler to play an infertile business woman, who takes on a surrogate (Poehler) in order to become a mother. However, the conventional trade off takes a turn when the expectant mother shows up on Kate's (Fey) doorstep with no place to live.
Also starring Sigourney Weaver and Greg Kinnear, Baby Mama promises to be a "comic battle of wills" as the main characters face off in preparation for the baby. Set to be released on April 18, 2008.
Mad Money: Diane Keaton plays Bridget, a long-time housewife and stay-at-home mom who is forced to seek employment after her husband loses his job. When she takes a janitorial position at a bank, she is surprised to find how well she relates to her coworkers, Nina (Queen Latifah) and Jackie (Katie Holmes).
Together, the three women hatch a heist plan that could be destroyed by the most minute of missteps. The intellect of all three is required for them to keep ahead of the game, and out of trouble.
Definitely, Maybe - A father/daughter bonding tale unfolds in the midst of a divorce, when Will Hayes (Ryan Reynolds), recounts his life before marraige to his ten-year-old daughter, Maya (Abigail Breslin). However, to keep the story from having a predictable ending, Will changes the names of the women in his life, so that his daughter must guess which of the loves of Will's youth turned out to be her mother.
