One of the main attractions at the Grand Geneva Resort & Spa is its golf courses, and the organizers of the 2008 Geneva Convention found a great way to utilize them.

A record number of golfers showed up at noon on the opening day of the Convention to play in a tournament which benefited Variety The Children's Charity of Wisconsin.

Boxoffice was able to chat with Gerise LaSpisa, who was named Executive Director of the charity in January.
