I love the book and i think the movie will be amazing as well. I think they are both great actors and all the fans of Twilight will love this movie.

I think having read the book (with lots of cheesy old saying by both Bella and Edward), the movie will come off just as cheesy. But for devout fans, that won't be a problem, because they have read the book. The preview alone makes it look bad! And I did read the book and liked it, I just don't think the movie will be that good. So, come in with low expectation and hope to get blown away and not vice-versa.

This review is spot on. For everyone who's read the books this is just more of the same and therefore, something to look forward to, but for everyone else it's just a steaming pile of crap, sorry.

I can't wait for the movie and if predictions of overall takings of $150 million worldwide don't tell you that its going to be good then I don't know what will.

I completely agree with the review. It's quite obvious in the trailer that Kristen Stewart delivers her lines like she's dull and seemed to be narcoleptic. The tone of her voice sounds lower to Pattinson's which makes his voice more dulcet than hers. Pattinson on the otherhand is trying hard to be serious that he looks constipated in every angle. Box-office wise it be a phenomenon with the teens and will be completely ignored by those who will barf on its cheesy dialogues.

OK...I went to see the midnight showing of this last night, and I didn't goin with high expectations. I didn't know if they could actually make it anywhere close to the books, considering the time they put into it and how long it was going to be. However, with that said, I think the movie was awsome. This review is obviously written by someone who has no respect for anyone else's opinion and is just out to make the movie sound bad so that no one besides "teen obsessed fans" will go see it. Let me tell you that there was just as many adults in that theater as there were teens. The movie was awsome and I can't wait for the next movie to be made

I am a mom of 3 I have read all 4 books and I saw the movie at midnight I went in just like i was going to a h potter movie not expecting to see every little detail and I LOVE IT with the book you laugh cry jump forjoy and shreik and I did all the above with the movie maybe not at the same parts but with a book its you heart making the words come to life no one but you can duplicate that Now with that said GO SEE THIS MOVIE you will love it I am going 2 more times with friends and then with my husband

First off, the publishing industry is a harsh world. If Stephenie Meyer's books wouldnt be good enough to publish, then they wouldnt have been accepted. If your book sucks it doesnt get published. They only publish books that they know will be succesful. So obviously they knew Twilight would be a big hit! Second everyone forgets that bella in the book is only 17. she acts like a normal high school teens. of course she's " self centered" at some points. She hasnt even matured yet shes a teen. Of course if edward were real we would all be selfish and want him for ourselves anyways. No book is perfect, it has it's flaws. No movie is perfect, it has its flaws. The point is, that either you like Twilight or you don't. Its an amazing famous popular book, thats fanbase is still rapidly growing. Everyday at school I see more and more copies of Twilight?? why, because it's good. I've gotten valley girls, people who've never even picked up a book, teachers, and guys to read the books. In three months, i had 78 people read twilight! so obviously its a good book. Besides, if Stephenie made Bella an extremely gorgeous person, it would be another cliche love story, just like every other one. But she made Twilight unique,relatable, understandable, and highly entertaining. Yes it sounds like a chick book!! because it is!! it was Written by a women for women. and if men read it,,, that shows how good it is. Men could learn some important things from Twilight!! Critics rate movies that will do good, bad, because they know it will be a big hit and have alot of publicity. Movies like Beowulf, were rated A plus, which i know for a fact, no one liked. They also hated I am Legend, which had its flaws but was a good movie. Critics opinions dont matter. They are paid to rate movies bad and say how crappy or ****ty they think it is. Thats what a critic does, they are harsh people. They're opinion doesnt matter, ours does. And from what i've heard, Twilight is amazing, and that its expected to take a bite out of box office bucks, so i dont know what anyone is talking about when they say it's going to suck. Yeah Twilight was shot with a low buget, because summitt Entertainment isnt a popular movie company. But Twilight is expected to change that, and hopefully the following Twilight series. So cry me a river people!!

The movie was okay of course the book was so much better but everyone knows that. It was hard for be because I kept comparing the book to the movie and I feel that was a big mistake so do not compare because you may be disappointed

The only reason the reviews are bad is because the movie isn't all that great actually. I saw it last night for the opening and I was syked about it because I've read the whole series.. but the movie definitely doesn't do the story justice. It's also because it was an under budgeted film. I think Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson are the perfect characters for the job because they have so much chemistry together but maybe the dialogue wasn't the greatest. You have to understand the movie was made mainly for the Twilight readers because if you didn't know anything about the movie and just walked in, you definitely would not catch all the little things. You probably wouldn't understand the movie at all.

I loved the Twilight book series and I loved the movie... I can't wait to see the 2nd one... I was very excited to take my kids to the midnight show last night and none of us were disappointed... We just bought the 4 books when the 4th one came out in July and it amazes me how many hands our books have passed through... me and my daughters several of their friends... WOW... that is all I can say... WOW

My boyfriend and I saw the movie last night. I've read all the books and he hasn't. When it was over I liked it, and so did he! He was actually surprised because he had been dreading it and didn't really want to see it (in fact if my mother had visited he would have sent us off to see it and gone and done something else). But now he's curious about the world of Twilight and has asked me a bunch of questions regarding things that are addressed in future books but brought up in Twilight. So honestly, if it has the ability to bring up interest in someone who had no interest and felt they wouldn't, then it can't be that bad.

:P Though one thing we both agreed on, the special effects were cheesy. But cheesy special effects shouldn't be focused on, otherwise you spoil everything else there is for you to see.

yes. i do think they could have done a better job with the running parts. it did look very cheesy. i guess they weren't really trying to focus on that and more of just bella and edward.

Everyone needs to realize that this movie was prolly low-budget and they worked with what they could. In the future, the other movies will get better, and not be quite so cheesy. I loved it though!

I have seen the movie and shes right about it appealing to the teenagers only but I dont agree with Robs acting if she read the books she wouldnt get it either. Edward is supposed to hate himself not just go-cry-about-it hate but try killing yourself and be miserable even when in love hate, and it shows in the movie. I think he did the best job on sticking to his character besides the comedic relief through out by the other actors which was great. Rob was the only link to the true Twilight I feel and a for Kristen she did as good as she could with what was given.

I really liked both the book and the movie. Paranormal is one of, if not the top, sellers in romatic fiction today. Twilight is a modern day "Romeo & Juliet" story! Full of forbidden love that has been made trendy and fresh, with the paranormal twist. Sure the book, and the movie, have cheesy parts. But frankly, I like it all the more because of this.

As to the camera action: I liked the baseball sceen, it was very "Matrix" but with action other than violence. I liked it!

The sceen where Bella and Edward are lying in the forest is one or the most romantic I have ever seen, very moving and touching! Then they did the airal view and it distracted from the moment, really unnecessary.

Overall, I really approved of the minimal violance, there was some, with little blood and gore, but not much for a 2 hour movie. It was refreshing not to be grossed out at the theater!

Finally, I really thought it was a wonderful teenage romance. I like that they abstain from sex in the movie yet the kissing and touching is erotic, but appropriate for teens both to see and do!

This movie was incredible!! I have read all four books and I am looking forward to the next three movies! If you have read the book, you will know that the acting of all characters was right on!! Go see this movie, read the book and then go see it again!!!

I've read all the books, and after viewing the previews i wasn't overly thrilled to see the movie. Being a fan, however, i saw it the day it came out. Although it has awkward moments and poor CGI, I am SO happy with the way the movie turned out. I wasn't in the least bit disappointed in the transition from book to movie and I can't wait to see the next one!

I saw Twilight last night when it opened. My wife has already read all four(4) books. I am 42 years old and I really enjoyed the movie. We did, however, make one mistake - seeing it on opening night and sitting in the theatre with a bunch of lovestruck 'Edward' teenagers, cooing and awing at every sight of him. Every scene that showed a kiss or the possibility of a kiss, or a close up of Edward, ignited some type of open-mouth reaction from the teenage girls in the audience. Other than that, I have no complaints about the movie. I am eagerly looking forward to the sequel. You have to remember, reviews are only people's opinions. Don't ever NOT go to a movie based on what reviews you read. Go check it out for yourself and give it a chance.

im a fan of the books..! obsessed is more like it. and i couldnt wait for the movie..but i knew that it wouldnt even come close to how AMAZING the books are..and i went into the movie excited but a bit worried that i might be too excited and then i would end up hating the movie cause my expectations were too high...i was wrong..although the movie changes some scenes and it seemed to me that it was going a little fast..i absolutely loved it..of course its nothing compared to the book..but its still probably like my favorite movie EVER!!! and as for the whole unless you read the books youll be confused and not interested...i went with a friend whose never even heard of twilight till last month and she hasnt read the books and she absolutely loved the movie! she said it was amazing and that at some parts she was just blown away from it..!!! not everyone will love this movie..and im not going to judge those that dont. but if you think that the books and movie are stupid and a waste of time..well obviously you havnt read the books to know how amazing they are,,and if you dont like the movie or book dont come onto these pages and say how much you dont like it..ps LOVED THE MOVIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So this is a great time for us to be able to see it in a movie. I saw the 12:00 a.m show and I loved the movie even though things were left out it was over all great. I'm hoping to see a "New Moon" movie out soon.

I went into the theater with mixed view points on what the movie would be like. Let me tell you this, it turned out to be the most incredible experience! I was not expecting it to be so good. I actually went with about 14 friends, some had not even read the books and they loved it as well. Some of the elderly critics said that the effects were not that great so I was expecting them to be corny...they weren't at all. They also said the meadow scene was lacking, but I thought it was absolutely amazing! I watched in astonishment as my favorite book was brought to life on the big screen and the only thing I want is more!! The acting was incredible...you could actually feel Edwards torment in Rob's emotions. Kristen was a fantastic Bella, perfect in every way. I feel so lucky to have been able to see this movie and I will see it over and over again! Twilight has become a household name and this movie just reinforces all the hype!!!

I am a fan of Twilight and have read all four of Stephenie Meyer's books for this series. I also got the chance to watch the movie today, and totally loved it!

The beginning was not very eye-catching to me, but as the movie progressed, it grew better and better.

However, I don't think that this movie is suited only for those who have read the book.. perhaps to understand the beginning of the movie better, but even the movie didn't even require one to read the book to grasp a sense of what was going on because Bella (the narrator) did a great job introducing the story.

Sure, there are bits of details here and there that would excite the readers of Twilight more than, perhaps, someone who didn't read the book.. however, the majority of the main points and features were explained by the dialogue in the movie!

I just think the action, love, and conflicts stood out very well on its own two feet, so that even people who haven't read the book Twilight will enjoy the movie!

As a last note, the last time I read the book Twilight, I believe, was two years ago, so I don't remember a lot of the details. However, I still LOVED the movie today!! Some things in the movie also has to be explained on its own--things that even people who have read the book may not have grasped had it not been for the explanations in the movie--because, of course, scenes that could not be added to the movie due to the time-length.

That's why, I recommend the movie to everybody--no matter if you read the book or not. The movie does follow the book quite well, however, the movie can also stand on its own two feet.

OK !! lets Be real !! I am 36 and read all 4 books i LOVED the books and hope for more !! BUT the MOVIE was badly made !! there were many things they could have done diffrently some things they didnt even address such as james knew alice!! they should have made her feel a little more and they could have talked more like wien he insisted on meeting bellas dad !! i didnt like the whole dinner scene at the culens house STUPID!!!! I've had my douts about the movie, and went into the movie with a low expectation, but I came out with a sore face from smiling through the movie and thinking it was definately worth waiting in the cold outside the theater for an hour and a half. The movie was amazing, and ALMOST as good as the book. But one thing to remember is, yes, don't watch the movie with high expectation, and second, let your douts about the actors they chose go, and give the movie a chance! I didn't have any doubts! I'm with Robert all the way! He was born to play Edward!

I loved the Cullens in the movie and I wish we could have seen more of them as they were really the best part of the movie. Jacob Black (Taylor) and Charlie were also great to watch on screen. I compleetly agree about the lackluster acting from the two leads though. As much as I love Rob Pattinson he tended to overact some of the scenes. As for Kristin Stewart I was not impressed at all. I know Bella is supposed to be an awkard girl and clumsy, but Stewart’s portrayl was just horrible. As for the two together I felt no on screen chemistry. There were only two scenes through out the entire movie I felt anything between them, the rest were just uncomfortable. I don’t know if the movie will get any better with a second viewing, but it was nowhere near as good as the book. Summit just announced the green light for the sequal New Moon and I can only hope that after seeing the first film the actors will be ready to pick it up and meet the standards fans are expecting.

Movies never portray the books to an exact science. We all knew that before going into this. My only complaints about the movie were that I didnt feel LOVE radiating from Edward & Bella as stronly as I did in the book. It was really sudden and kinda awkward. Kristen Stewart suck as an actress. Who can't see this? She needs to stop being so proud and take some acting lessons and in a hurry. Also a different director needs to take over the next film if they decide to do another one.

Twilight should not get two stars. If it was really such a "bad" movie it wouldn't be the NUMBER ONE movie in America. It also wouldn't be making 35 million dollars a day. Twilight is very different from any other vampire movies. Very different. Twilight is funny, scary, and great! I've seen it three times already and it never gets old. Robert Pattinson (and the rest of the cast) were GREAT! I can't wait for New Moon to come out. The books are great and so is the movie. I Give it 5 of 5 stars, 6 if I could.

Its true that the CGI effects were bad and that Kristen was a weird bella but a bella nonetheless. I dragged my friend who had never even heard of Twilight and she loved it even though she admited the effects were bad. Robert was a good Edward and yes they should have showed that Alice knew James. I think the CGI was the ONLY thing I was dissapointed with but I loved the movie as much as I love the books and cant wait for them to make more. Dont blame Catherine Harwicke its not her fault they barely had any money for better effects. I love these people who think that because a movie does well or is number one that automatically means it is good. There are tons of bad movies that are #1 because they are box office draws. Popular never automatically means good. It just means popular.

i just wanna say that the critics really dont know what they are talking about. they most likely havent read the books and theyre mostly older people. they really need to think in the perspective of the audience that the movie is attracting and then they can give the review. the movie is amazing as are the books! 5 out of 5 stars! and thanks to everyone on here who agrees with me. i thought this movie was great and well worth seeing again. Then again i was one of the first huge Twilight fans first picking up the book in 2006. My friends and I waited the 17 months since the movie was first announced[we were in the room when she announced it] and are VERY pleased by the outcome!!!

Iv read all the books and went to the midnight showing. I knew when I went to it that it would be bit different than the book and I was fine with that! I was into bella and Edward. This movie was amazing. I loved it so much. I saw it opening day and i went and saw it again today. This review rips apart the actors and it makes them seem like they were horrible, but they wernt. They played the roles perfectly. Forget the review! I cant wait till the next movie comes out.

I tried watching this movie after I tried desperately to read the book. It is possibly the most ridiculously gay attempt to make vampires seem like there might be a good one somewhere out there. But that's not what it did for me, what it did was make me think about how desperate people are for another Romeo and Juliet story that they decided to deface one the most horrifying creatures in all of literature. I can't believe the people that I saw with "Twilight" shirts on at my school. It made me want to try and resurrect Prince Vlad himself so they know what it really is to be blood-thirsty.

Besides any of that, the mere idea that vampires are trying to control their instincts pissed me off. The whole fear behind vampires isn't the fact that they captivate people and make them do whatever the hell they want, or even that they drink blood. The fear behind them was that they were entirely instinct based EXCEPT Dracula. He could control it, but he was, according to the real Dracula story, the most vicious of them all because he could control it.

This movie and book might have been good, IF and ONLY IF the idea of vampires was never thought of before. You can't take maliciously volatile creatures and make them romantic. Vampires can be seductive, that's all well and good, but if they don't end up drinking your blood, killing you, or turning you into their pet, the vampire has to be dead.

Honestly, this movie and book made me wonder if the next big romance based on a pure evil monster going to be ****ing zombies.

i think its a great movie, it may have some unreal scenes but isnt that what a movie is about, fantasy and the impossible being possible! i loved the whole story... movie and book .... and cant wait for the next! so what if bella goes against logic and falls in love with edward! its a movie!! and beautiful example of the power of true love and imagination!

This is a great movie, and if its only because it actually goes along with the book than so be. They kept vidal lines and scenes from the book that would have angered the fans if they werent on point. IF it confused anyone else, sorry but, this film was made for its fans and the fans loved it!! They did an excellent job and I wish it would have ran three hours long! This Review makes me sad for the person writing it. I have read only the first book and i loved it. I know that if I were to pull an "Edward-in-Biology-class" face at my mentor, she'd slap me across the face and ask, "Why are you acting?" The movie is not so great as to go watch it more than once, but is not a big regret for your money.

I had low expectations when I went to see the movie. I'm a huge fan of the Twilight saga and knew it couldn't be as good as the books. It wasn't, but it was still a great movie. It remains true to the book with some funny extras. The chemistry between Edward and Bella sizzled and I definitely look forward to seeing more of Victoria. I think Catherine Hardwicke did a wonderful job, as did the entire cast, with the budget and time they had. I've seen this movie 4 times so far and plan to see it more.

There is always something that gets left out when you turn a book into a movie. You dont get to know the characters or situations as well through a movie the way you do with a book. In movies, thoughts and feelings are left to the imagination unlike when you read a book, your inside the hero/heroines mind. You know how they feel and thier internal struggles and you feel like you know them as a person other than just some character. The book will always be better.

That being said, I think Summit ent. did a good job with the casting and filming of Twilight. The movie followed the book very closely and even though a few things were somewhat different than the book, it didnt take away from the story line. If you've read all the books you understand that the first book of twilight is like a foundation for the rest of the story. The one thing I think they could have done better was on Edwards behalf. You dont hear the thoughts around him like you read in the book. Through Edwards thoughts in the book you understand people like Jessica and Mike better. You also see Alice's visions through Edwards thoughts and with those missing from the movie I think people who hadnt read the book would understand the story better with them. Hopefully they will change that in the rest of the movies.

Robert Pattinson did a remarkable job as Edward. I think he really portrayed the sexy broading vampire really well. You can see the struggle of forbidden love in his eyes and through his acting. He got two thumbs up for me.

Kristin Stewart as Bella was a good choice. She is unconventionally pretty and really brings Bella's Character to life. She was absolutely perfect and I really dont think anyone BUT Robert Pattinson and Kristin Stwart could have played those characters.

The rest of the Cullen Clan was perfect too. Everyone played thier part very well. It was like seeing my imagination come to life for everyone else to see. Emmett and Jasper are hotties.

The best thing about the movie that was unexpected for me was the comedy angle. There were some very funny parts in that movie!

All in all even through I definitely think the book was better, I still feel like the movie was done very well and I already cant wait to see it again.

To the critic responsible for the review. Unless you have read the books, all of them, you shouldnt be reviewing the story at all. Your opinion really doesnt matter anyway because everyone likes different things and usually when any critic gives a bad review, I almost always like whatever they didnt and everything they do like I hate. So it looks like this review only gets one star. Sorry.

1. Dracula was not nor has he ever been REAL! Vampire stories, legends and lore, all of it comes from the imagination. Therefore there is no right or wrong way to create a blood thirsty vampire.

2. Apparently you've never seen "My Boyfriends Back" *whispers* FYI - they already did a zombie love story so your too late on that one! LOL hope that doesnt twist your panties.

The reason the CGI and effects werent so up to par was because this was a B-Budget film that made a A-Budget profit. the more money they make off the movies the better the rest will get. they did the best the could with what they had and hats off to them for it. i didnt think the effects were really that bad in the first place.

I don't think the review is accurate. There had been so much hype about this movie and I had not, and still haven't read any of the books in the series, so I felt the movie would be a flop and complete waste of my time. I wanted to wait and see how it fared in its opening weekend, but to my surprise, it made over $65 million, so someone obviously liked it. I went to see it tonight with no expectations at all. In fact, from scene to scene, I kept expecting it to be exactly the junk I thought it would be, but it kept getting better and better and it is actually a very good movie. The review is too harsh. I guess the writer obviously has not seen "The Happening" this year for them to give a movie as good as this such a bad review..trust me, there have been a lot of bad movies out this year and the movie "Twilight" is definately not one of them...not even close. So go see it.

I have to say, it would be a little confusing if you didn't read the book but I thought the actors did a pretty damn good job! Edward is impossible to play and the actor did great, the girl who played Bella wasn't bad either.
The book was better but remember in the movie they can't fit everything in the book,books have to have more details, to be more explanatory, thats why the books better. And if they did everything from the book it would be 4 hours long.
I give the movie 4 out of 5.

I saw the movie and asked my friend to lend me the book I already read the book and I'm going to get the second book today. Let me tell you I don't like to read, but this book I can't stop reading I just love it. I'm dying for the second movie to come out. I give the movie a 5 out of 5.

The movie is amazing, everything about it is perfect. Its romantic but not mooshy, there isnt too much violence or gore. Theres enough action to keep you on your toes.

ummm....actually i have to disagree with that review. i haven't read the books, never even heard of them. i came across the movie by mistake, someone suggested i see it, and i did. i didn't scratch my head when i saw it, on the contrary, i loved it and i'm not even a teen, ok, maybe at heart but still...i thought the movie was great, so the special effects weren't all that great but it's understandable. the actors i thought were spot on. maybe bella wasn't perfect at times but i was happy to overlook that because the movie captivated me, the way it was shot, the music, the story, i thought everything was great. so now i'm hooked on twilight, the movie actually made me wanna read the books, not the other way around. sorry to disagree but that's the way it is and i don't think i'm the only one.

I have to say I am a pretty big fan of the books, but if I had seen the movie before I read the book, I would never have bought the book. I found the movie to be badly filmed, too many close ups, the director was great with "Thirteen" but not with this, she got no acting out of the leads, though I feel that Pattinson has great possibilities. The bits that I would consider poignant to the story were cut out, there making their love seem silly and out of no where. Though I did not like the movie I would go see the sequel when it comes out because I loved the books.

I knew from the start that edward was a vampire cause it was kinda ovious but he was a good vampire and I thought the two were really cute together I know he was abit of a loner but they developed a really good friendship and the two became very close and he was also really overprotective of her which was really really cute* I'd love a vampire friend like Edward he actually turned out to be a really amazing down to earth bloke? Edward & Bella I was really really happy for the two glad they worked out! Bella is a beautiful person with a good heart & deserves to be happy!

So I dragged my husband to see Twilight on opening night and just like everyone else I had to laugh at all the teens screaming when Edward said things like "hi"...and after having to hit my husband over a dozen times for falling asleep I left the theater loving the movie. Just like everyone else I read all 4 books in about 2 nights...and 1 thing someone else said was when your reading the books you put your heart into it and you heart creates images and feelings that unless you made the movie no one could re create. When I was finished with the last book I honestly had the feeling of total emptieness in me (which at 28 I am not completley proud of saying ..hahah!) but really i was like...i want more!!
I agree with the statment that if you read the book and were expecting it to be the book you would be disapointed. But I am a major Harry Potter fan as well and learned my lesson with those movies so for what was put into Twilight I thought it was amazing..Yes some special effects could have been done better, but I can assure you the next 1 will be that big block buster budget movie. I feel that a lot of critics took the movie for what it was and thats all...but you really needed to be open minded if you hadnt read all the books as to what to expect. I loved Twilight and cant wait to see more!!!

OK...the movie really was made for twilight book FANS....i mean the movie was a work of art and was just soooo great. the best moive ever and as a twiligth MAJOR fan i understand it completely but for people of the streets neva read twilight b4 they can't really get what is going on. like bella she never really showed much emotion in the 1st one she was always really acward and everything...and edward isn't exactly a loner...he and the other cullens Alica, Rosalie, Jaspar and Emmett they all seem to stay together considering they are vampires and could kill everbody in the room. but to truly understand and feel the real passion in twilight you need to start from the begining the book.

I agree those people are stupid. I've read all four books and I think the director did an amazing job recreating it on the big screen, and the whole part about only liking it if you read it, my boyfriend went with me to watch the movie, and he totally despised the whole twilightness because i was literally obsessed with Edward Cullen, but he actually really enjoyed it. It's a great movie, and you all just need to get over yourselves because it was simply amazingg!

The part where Cullen was boucing around, squatting about the trees and reappearing in the forest was...comical, yet I was laughing alone in my seat. However, he really was beautiful to look at - perhaps in the sequel he bounces around in the nude and it's rated R or something to allow this (not sure why a vampire movie would EVER be rated PG-13 - the whole point is for it to be sexy as hell). I did not read the book first, was pleasantly surprised with the skin like diamonds bit (an interesting take on vampires). The girl can't act to save her life and intentionally stutters a lot which makes her sound like a retard. I really enjoyed how the family looked: the "modern vamp," slightly constipated and recently electrocuted. I saw it twice and can't wait for next December; hopefully by then they will recaste the chick and Cullen will play a larger role ;) As for the negative critiques, I can only surmise they don't have a love for "vampiction" like the rest of us lost souls...

the movie kinda sucked
I thought It was going to be much better but it wasnt.
I didnt like the way Kristen Stewart acted. she could have done much better.

the book was great i mean i loved it. but like many have said i think the movie will only appeal to those who have devoted a chunk of their lives reading the 4 books. i think the movie was kinda slow or something, they might not have been the best actors but its kinda just the beggining of their careers. i think the movie had a chance to become sooo much better, but oh well, not every one has the same taste. but over all out of 5 id give it 3.5.

The book was great but I have to admit this movie was not very good. I walked out of the theater thinking- what was that? Many of them need to take some acting lessons immediately. There were too many unintentional funny scenes. Anyways, some blame can be placed on its budget- action sequences and special effects were terrible.
