The Sopranos creator David Chase has signed a deal to write, direct and produce his first feature film at Paramount Studios according to Variety. Chase's relationship with Paramount chairman and Sopranos exec-producer Brad Grey has allowed him a lot of freedom, including final cut. The film will reportedly have nothing to do with the mafia. Meanwhile, Sopranos star James Gandolfini will be seen alongside Denzel Washington and John Travolta in the remake of The Taking of Pelham 123 and he's also slated to play Ernest Hemmingway.
