According to People.com, Matt Lauer holds no grudges after Tom Cruise came on his show and got into a spat about the psychiatry. "I don't feel there are any hard feelings," Lauer said, "It was an interview. It was a good moment on television." Yet after the relatively dismal performance of Mission: Impossible 3 and the outright disappointment that was Lions for Lambs it doesn't seem that main-stream audiences are so quick to forgive and forget.
