Lee Set To Journey With 'Time Traveler'

Spike Lee will co-write and direct Time Traveler, about the life and scientific career of Ronald Mallet, according to Variety. Mallett was one of the first African Americans to earn a Ph.D in theoretical physics and he developed technical specs for what he believed to be a working time machine. Lee recently finished shooting the World War II drama, Miracle at St. Anna, which is due in theatres on September 26th when it will open against Eagle Eye with Shia LaBeouf and Nights in Rodanthe starring Richard Gere and Diane Lane.
