Lucas Focuses On WWII For Next Project

George Lucas will executive produce Red Tails, which is set during World War II and will focus on the Tuskegee Airmen who escorted thousands of U.S. bombers, according to the Associated Press. The project comes from a script by John Ridley and Lucas hopes to begin shooting by the end of the year or early 2009. Lucas also recently produced an animated entry into the Star Wars saga, Star Wars: The Clone Wars, which will hit theatres on August 15th.
