Williams May Not Attend 'Knight' Premiere

posted June 24, 2008 7:22 AM

While Heath Ledger's father, Kim, and his mother, Emma, will be in attendance for the July 14th premiere of The Dark Knight, his ex-wife, actress Michelle Williams, and his daughter, Matilda, may not be according to Page Six. Apparently, Williams is upset with Ledger's family because she feels they will spend all of what could be Matilda's inheritance. Ledger drafted his will in 2003 before Matilda was born and it left everything to his father, mother and sisters.

Why would Michelle Williams take her daughter, Matilda - who is only 2.5 years old to see "The Dark Knight"? I think even if Heath Ledger were alive, neither of them would approve of taking their little girl to see that film.

So, why do we criticize Michelle for acting like any other normal mother?

Wow, we really are sensational junkies! Let me ask you - Would you take your little boy or girl to see such a "dark and scary" movie?

And what about Michelle? Should she sit in the movie and watch Heath in his hideous make up, playing a heinous villain as her last memory?

I wouldn't!
