Philip Seymour Hoffman's New York-based Cooper's Town Prods. has signed a two-year, first-look deal with Overture Films according to The Hollywood Reporter. Unconditional, which is based on a play by Brett C. Leonard that centers on an interlocking set of stories about lonely New Yorkers, will be the first effort from the new partners. Overture recently found success with the indie-hit The Visitor and they'll be releasing Righteous Kill with Al Pacino and Robert DeNiro this September. Cooper's Town Prods. has been behind such Philip Seymour Hoffman vehicles as Capote and The Savages.
