In an inspired bit of casting, Sacha Baron Cohen (Borat, Sweeney Todd) will play Sherlock Holmes and Will Ferrell will play his partner, Watson, according to Variety. The project is set up at Columbia Pictures with Judd Apatow producing and Etan Cohen (Tropic Thunder) writing the script. The comedy duo appeared together as rival race car drivers in 2006's Talladega Nights. Baron Cohen is now filming a big screen version of his TV character Bruno, and Ferrell will be seen alongside John C. Reilly in Step Brothers, which is due in theatres on July 25th.
