Val Kilmer and the rapper Xzibit have signed on star in Werner Herzog's remake of 1992's Bad Lieutenant, according to Variety. Nicolas Cage and Eva Mendes have already been cast in the film, which is scripted by William Finkelstein. Kilmer can next be seen in Felon, which is due in theatres July 18th and Xzibit is featured in The X-Files: I Want To Believe.
