Woo To Debut 'Red Cliff' In Asia

John Woo's four-hour long epic Red Cliff will debut in Asia this week according to Variety. The film is an adaptation of the classic Chinese novel, Romance of the Three Kingdoms. Cliff stars Tony Leung, Takeshi Kaneshiro, Zhang Fengyi, Chang Chen and Lin Chiling and audiences outside of Asia will get a single film that will run 2 1/2 hours. Woo's last film was 2003's disappointing Paycheck with Ben Affleck and Uma Thurman.
