It looks at though a sequel to Sex and the City is at least on the minds of the people who could make it happen. According to Entertainment Weekly, Michael Lombardo, the president of HBO's programming group, told the press that, "We're really heartened by the fans' enthusiasm. Absolutely, there is a lot of energy behind doing another SATC movie." The project is obviously at the very early stages of conception, if that, considering that there is no script and the four leading ladies have not committed to anything. After six weeks of release, Sex and the City remains in the top 10 and has brought in $146 million domestically.
