'Wanted' Producer To Stick With Universal

Universal has signed Wanted producer Marc Platt to a five-year deal according to Variety. Wanted has brought in roughly $175 million worldwide already and a sequel is now in the works. Platt served as a producer on director Jonathan Demme's Rachel Getting Married, which stars Anne Hathaway and is due in theatres October 17th. He's also developing several other projects, including a remake of Jesus Christ Superstar as well as a screen adaptation of Wicked.
