Accomplished action director John Woo is set to direct an adaptation of the comicbook Cailber, according to Variety. The project will be a joint production between Woo's Lion Rock, Johnny Depp's Infinitum Nihil and Barry Levine's Radical Comics. Caliber is most likely not going to be Woo's next project though, as he is currently editing the second part of his Red Cliffs epic and is also attached to direct 1949, a period romance set against the Chinese Revolution, for Lionsgate.
