Sony Pictures Classics Looks To Nab 'Synecdoche'

Sony Pictures Classics is on their way to grabbing the domestic rights to Synecdoche, New York, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The film, which marks the directorial debut of Academy Award-winning screenwriter Charlie Kaufman, stars Philip Seymour Hoffman, Samantha Morton, Michelle Williams, Catherine Keener, Emily Watson and others. Hoffman can be seen again this fall alongside Meryl Streep in Doubt.
