Lionsgate Signs New Deal With Perry

After finding continued success with Tyler Perry, Lionsgate has signed the multihyphenate to a new three-year first-look deal according to Variety. The deal will kick in after the release of The Family That Preys on September 12th and Madea Goes to Jail which is due in theatres on February 20th, 2009. Perry's last effort, Meet the Browns, grossed $41.9 million domestically.
