Disney's 'Persia' Finds New Release Date

Disney has pushed back the release date for Prince of Persia: Sands of Time by nearly an entire year, according to Variety. The film was originally set to open on June 19th, 2009 and now it will hit theatres during Memorial Day weekend of 2010. Jake Gyllenhaal, Gemma Arterton, Ben Kingsley and Alfred Molina star in Persia, which is an adaptation of a popular video game. Director Mike Newell began shooting the film last week in Morocco.
