Columbus Focuses On Kennedy Project

Chris Columbus (Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, Rent) will make a film about Robert F. Kennedy's 1968 presidential campaign, according to Variety. The film is being adapted from Thurston Clarke's recent book, "The Last Campaign: Robert F. Kennedy and 82 Days That Inspired America." Columbus will serve as a producer on the project along with Michael Barnathan and Mark Radcliffe and he may also pen the screenplay. Recently, Emilio Estevez stepped behind the camera to film 2006's Bobby, which focused on the assassination of RFK.
