The writing team of Larry Karaszewski and Scott Alexander are in negotiations to pen a bigscreen adaptation of the popular Goosebumps series of books by R.L. Stine, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Karaszewski and Alexander boast an impressive resume that includes Ed Wood, The People vs. Larry Flynt and 1408, which they adapted from a Stephen King novel. Columbia acquired the rights to the Goosebumps series in May and this could signal the beginning of a franchise.
