Glover's Chavez-Backed Project Fails

Danny Glover's proposed film about Haitian independence hero Toussaint L'Ouverture, which was set to receive significant financial backing from Hugo Chavez, has fallen apart according to Page Six. Glover has blamed a the Hollywood studio system for not being willing to commit to a movie without any "white heroes."
