Swank Snags Rights To 'Something Borrowed'

Academy Award-winning actress Hilary Swank, along with her producing partner Molly Smith, has acquired the rights to the 2005 novel Something Borrowed, according to Variety. Borrowed was author Emily Giffin's debut and it centers around a Manhattan attorney who becomes involved with her best friend's fiance. Swank is eyeing the film as a potential starring vehicle. The actress is currently filming Amelia, in which she plays the title role of Amelia Earhart. Amelia also stars Richard Gere, Ewan McGregor and Virginia Madsen.
