A remake of the 1982 classic horror flick Poltergeist is now in the works and it may have found its director. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Vadim Perelman is in negotiations to helm the project with a script by Juliet Snowden and Stiles White. Perelman made his debut with the critically praised House of Sand and Fog in 2003 and this year he directed Evan Rachel Wood and Uma Thurman in The Life Before Her Eyes. The project is being housed at MGM.
