Washington Taps 'Book' As Next Project

Denzel Washington is joining forces with Albert and Allen Hughes (From Hell, Dead Presidents) for Book of Eli, according to Variety. The film is set in a post-apocalyptic world in which Washington's character must travel across America to provide the knowledge needed to achieve redemption. The actor recently finished shooting Taking of the Pelham 123 for director Tony Scott, which also stars John Travolta and James Gandolfini. Book will be distributed by Warner Bros. and it's being financed by Alcon Entertainment.
