While it is not even close to being official yet, Al Pacino may take on the role of outspoken Los Angeles Dodgers manager Tommy Lasorda. According to Variety's Liz Smith, the Academy Award-winning actor has expressed interest in the role and the project is apparently on the fast track for development at Miramax. Michelle Pfeiffer is also said to be a possibility as Lasorda's wife. If Pacino and Pfeiffer star in the film, it would be their third onscreen pairing after Scarface and Frankie and Johnny.
