Quantum of Solace director Marc Forster has chosen World War Z as his next project.

The film is based on a novel by Max Brooks (son of Mel Brooks and Anne Bancroft) about an infestation of flesh-eating zombies. The project is being housed at Paramount.

Forster's resume now includes everything from Solace to Monster's Ball and the Will Ferrell comedy Stranger Than Fiction.
