Fox Signs 'Gossip Girl' Creator For 'X-Men'

20th Century Fox is moving forward with the X-Men series and the next film will focus on a younger set of mutants. The studio has tapped Gossip Girl creator Josh Schwartz to write X-Men: First Class.
In addition to this new project, Hugh Jackman recently reprised his role as Wolverine for X-Men Origins: Wolverine, which is due in theatres next summer.
2006's X-Men: The Last Stand grossed a staggering $234.4 million domestically.
