While nothing is official yet, there are rumors going around that Russell Brand may be playing Johnny Depp's brother in the fourth installment of highly lucrative Pirates of the Caribbean franchise.

Brand shot to fame this year with a scene-stealing supporting turn in Forgetting Sarah Marshall and he'll soon be seen as a tempremental rocker in the Judd Apatow-producer Get Him to the Greek.

Brand addressed the rumors in an interview with MTV.
