The busy actor has found yet another project.

Christian Bale will reportedly be starring opposite Mark Wahlberg in director David O. Russell's new project, The Fighter.

The project follows a washed up boxer who made the wrong decisions in life as he finds redemption by training another fighter. Brad Pitt and Darren Aronofsky were attached to the project at one point, but they have since moved on.

While Russell and Wahlberg have worked together twice before on Three Kings and I Heart Huckabees, the combination of Bale and Russell could prove to be volatile considering that both men are now known for their on-set temper tantrums.

Bale is set to have big summer since he'll be starring in both Terminator Salvation and Public Enemies. Wahlberg has a supporting role in Peter Jackson's The Lovely Bones this fall, which may give him a much needed critical boost after Max Payne and The Happening were both panned last year.

Too obvious a casting choice, no? Either way, I hope Vegas is taking odds on how far into shooting it'll be before an on-set fight breaks out.
