The rumor mill gears could be heard turning loudly today as two major casting rumors made their way to the public. Former pro-wrestling star Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is rumored to take the lead in an upcoming reboot of the 1985 Arnold Schwarzenegger vehicle Commando.

Also causing a stir around Hollywood, the recently announced revamp of Buffy the Vampire Slayer (yes, re-vamp is a pun), may possibly feature the in-demand Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen star Megan Fox.
Casting Johnson would make plenty of sense for action enthusiasts, as comparisons to Schwarzenegger have been made more than once in his career. His most recent picture was this year’s family flick Race to Witch Mountain, which managed a modest $66.2 million domestically.
Meanwhile, Fox was last seen on in 2008’s How to Lose Friends and Alienate People, which grossed only $2.78 million domestically. The young actress will be seen this September in Jennifer's Body, which comes from a script by Academy Award-winning writer Diablo Cody (Juno).
