Mark Ruffalo, Annette Bening and Julianne Moore will reportedly star in Lisa Chodolenko’s indie flick titled The Kids Are All Right. The film, written by Chodolenko and Stuart Blumberg, centers on a brother and sister searching for their biological father (Ruffalo), an anonymous sperm donor for their same-sex parents (Bening and Moore).
Chodolenko covered similar territory in High Art, her feature debut that was released in 1998. She has since helmed Laurel Canyon, which collected $3.66 million domestically in 2002, and Cavedweller.
Bening appeared in The Women last fall while Ruffalo and Moore costarred in Fernando Meirelles’ Blindness, which fizzled out with a disappointing $3.07 million domestic box office gross last year.
