The initial Transformers movie, which grossed a reported $701 million worldwide, may have done its part in proving that there is more to Megan Fox than meets the eye, but that has not stopped her from voicing her opinions on the film's sequel.

Fox recently admitted displeasure over Michael Bay's perceived reliance on special effects in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, telling Entertainment Weekly that "this is clearly not a movie about acting."

She quickly backtracked, reminding herself that this film was instrumental in placing her where she currently is now.

Bay simply responded by saying that "she says some very ridiculous things because she's 23 years old and has a lot of growing up to do."

He then pointed out that Shia Lebouf, Will Smith, Martin Lawrence, Ben Affleck and Nicolas Cage have achieved success due in part to starring in his movies.

Transformers 2 has grossed around $250 million domestically since opening last Wednesday, and it could hit the $300 million mark this weekend. The sequel should easily eclipse the worldwide gross of its predecessor.
