Adrien Brody has signed on to star in Robert Rodriguez's reboot of the Predator franchise. The film is tentatively set to hit theaters on July 9, 2010.

Rodriguez and Brody are both in need of a hit. Brody's last four films—The Brothers Bloom, Cadillac Records, The Darjeeling Limited and Hollywoodland—all failed to catch on with mainstream audiences. As for Rodriguez, his latest family film, Shorts, failed to catch on this summer. The Warner Bros. release grossed only $20.3 million domestically.
