A Swiss judge denied director Roman Polanski's appeal to post bail or to go under house arrest. Not surprisingly, the ruling came as a result of Polanski being seen as a "high" flight risk. The director has 10 days to appeal the decision.

Polanski has been in prison since September 26 when Swiss authorities nabbed him in Zurich on his way to a film festival.
The fate of Polanski's latest work, The Ghost, is certainly up in the air. The film stars Pierce Brosnan and Ewan McGregor.
