Office Space and "Band of Brothers" star Ron Livingston has signed onto join the cast of Jay Roach's Dinner for Schmucks, a remake of writer/director Francis Veber's 1998 French-language comedy The Dinner Game.
The picture is Roach's first theatrical film since Meet the Fockers in 2004, although he directed the Golden Globe-nominated HBO film Recount in 2008. The plot surrounds a group of upper-class dinner friends who play a game to see who can bring the most embarrassing person to the dinner table for the group to make fun of; Livingston joins the already-attached Steve Carell, Paul Rudd, Zach Galifianakis and British comics David Walliams and Lucy Punch.
