French actress Cecile De France has joined the cast of Clint Eastwood's Hereafter, which will star Matt Damon. Filming began last month, for a planned December 2010 release.

The actress, whose resume includes High Tension and Russian Dolls, is an interesting choice for a big Eastwood film, though Eastwood has recently shown a liking for unknowns (or at least unknowns in America) in supporting roles, as in his self-starrer Gran Torino.
Eastwood and Damon will also be teaming up for Invictus, which opens on December 11.
