House Bunny and Scary Movie star Anna Faris is in negotiations for Wedding Banned, a romantic comedy with Robin Williams attached to topline. Williams would play Faris' father, while the mother role has still yet to be filled. The project from Touchstone has no director as of yet, and no set plans for a date to begin production.

It's been a while since Faris has had a legitimate hit, as her bigger (live-action) films in the past couple of years, The House Bunny and Observe and Report, did posted mediocre numbers at the box office. The last time she starred in a film that was a genuine success, it was in 2006 for Scary Movie 4.
That may be turning around, however: Faris has found further success as a voice actor, as in the enormously popular Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs, and Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel coming up in December. Faris will also be seen next year in Yogi Bear with Dan Aykroyd and Justin Timberlake.
