After another four-year gap (identical to the one between 2002's jackass: the movie and 2006's jackass number two), Paramount seems prepared to bring Johnny Knoxville and crew's violent pranks to the big screen again with a third jackass movie, listed on their production schedule as jackass 3D.
While no further details are available other than the studio's listing the film on their production slate (including whether the film would be shot in stereoscopic 3D or shot on digital and converted to 3D during post production), members of the jackass team (including Knoxville and Bam Margera), have been suggesting that they would be making a return in 2010 in various interviews over the past year.
Both previous jackass films opened at number one in the US, grossing $64.2 and $72.7 million domestically. In the meantime, the group recently launched an all-new website, called www.jackassworld.com.
